Click the chart. This displays the Chart Tools, adding the Design, Layout, and Format tabs. On the Format tab, in the Current Selection group, click the arrow in the Chart Elements box, and then click the chart element for which you want to change the formatting style.
Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type.
Changes you make will instantly show up in the chart. Right-click the item you want to change and input the data--or type a new heading--and press Enter to display it in the chart. To hide a category in the chart, right-click the chart and choose Select Data.

On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type. Legend: Change the legend location. Titles: Change the chart and axis titles. When youre done, tap Done .
The Chart Elements, Chart Styles, and Chart Filter buttons appear next to the chart. Click the Chart Elements button and check or uncheck the elements you want to add or remove, such as Chart Title. Different chart types have different elements, styles, and filters. To add data labels, you check Data Labels.
