i think i was wearing this shirt in the last video i thought a lot about todayamp;#39;s topic well i normally think a lot about the topic but this week i thought about it a little more last week we talked about flat versus round characters and this week i was thinking of following up with a conversation about static and dynamic characters which is a related but different topic but i thought about that topic and there didnamp;#39;t seem to be that much about static and dynamic characters that wasnamp;#39;t already out there itamp;#39;s something thatamp;#39;s fairly easy to define and it just didnamp;#39;t seem like that interesting of a video you could also argue that flat versus round characters arenamp;#39;t that interesting of a video but i digress instead of a general discussion about static and dynamic characters i want to talk about one particular aspect of dynamic characters their dynamicness or more specifically their ability to change and how to write that change well r

How to create vivid characters for your novel or screenplay Start with a character archetype. Add specific characteristics. Build the backstory. Give them quirks, faults, and flaws. Give your character an arc. Add visual references. Organise refine. Create the rest of your characters.
Change Your Character from the Inside Out Making improvements to your character before your personality. Focusing on principles before practices. Adjusting your paradigms, or how you see the world, in order to change your actions.
If you want to change your personality, the first step is to examine and establish your motivation, which is a critical ingredient. You have to want to change, says Roberts. Without motivation, you may shift behaviors in the short-term, but will not likely experience lasting results.
Ways to Change Your Personality Cultivate a growth mindset and challenge negative thoughts when they arise. Let go of anger and believe in your ability to love. When you make the decision to act a certain way, it will become a habit over time. Dont be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.
People can change but only if a few requirements are met, including self-awareness and willpower. There are some exceptions, though. Your personality is shaped by a dynamic relationship between your interactions, temperament, and environments. Change is possible.
For this reason, its usually best to use a chapter break when switching POV characters. If you must change POV characters within a chapter, emphasize the transition by inserting the symbol ### centred on a line between the end of one scene and the start of the next.
If you want to shift the perspective to another character, denote the shift with a section break or a chapter break and clearly signal to the reader that theyre with a new character. Its good to let the reader have a mental break before you change the perspective.
To create believable character change, I follow these five steps: Step One: Establish a Constant Variable. Step Two: Form Your Character. Step Three: Let Your Character Storm. Step Four: Find Your Characters New Norm. Step Five: Give Your Evolved Character the Chance to Perform.
