Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

In the Keychain Access app on your Mac, select a keychain from one of the keychains lists, then double-click a certificate. Next to Trust, click the arrow to display the trust policies for the certificate. To override the trust policies, choose new trust settings from the pop-up menus.
Once it is open, navigate to the new certificate by selecting Certificates on the left side menu, then finding the certificate in the list. Once you have found the certificate, double click the certificate to load the details. Mark this as Always Trust.
Select the certificate you want to use and choose File New Certificate Preference. Choose File New Certificate Preference, click the Certificate pop-up menu, then choose the certificate you want to use.
In the Keychain Access app on your Mac, select a keychain from one of the keychains lists, then double-click a certificate. Next to Trust, click the arrow to display the trust policies for the certificate. To override the trust policies, choose new trust settings from the pop-up menus.
Changing the certificate Navigate to the Secure Certificates page. To the right of your domain, click the Settings button. The current certificate displays on this page. To the right, click the Add New Certificate button. On this page, select which type of certificate youd like to change to.
Changing Root Certificate Trust Settings Select the Root Certificate that you want to change. Click on Edit Trust Select/Unselect the check-boxes indicating the trust bits, then click on OK.
Choose Certificates at the top menu bar.To edit settings for certificates with custom settings, follow these steps: Double-click the certificate to open its settings. Click the arrow next to Trust. Use the dropdown menus to make adjustments. Close the window. Quit Keychain Access when youre done.
Click on the Finder icon in the Dock. Click on the Go menu at the top of the window and select Utilities. Double-click on Keychain Access. Select Certificates from the list of categories. Click on the certificate you want to delete. An untrusted certificate has a red X symbol under its name.
