this video will show you how to apply styles to table and figure captions it works basically the same way as applying styles to chapter titles level 1 headings and level 2 headings you highlight the text and you click the table caption fits the table how about the text and click the figure caption itamp;#39;s a figure a couple things to keep in mind just as we do with the chapter designations if thereamp;#39;s paragraph breaks between the table designation in the table title we need to remove those and instead hold shift and press ENTER to create line breaks you see how thatamp;#39;s different and the reason we do that is if there are paragraph breaks and then the table of contents will create two separate entries for the designation in the title thatamp;#39;s here holding shift and pressing enter and we see that nice little line break simple so Iamp;#39;m gonna delete this stuff here okay so we have our figure caption applied here and we have our table cap
