hi folks the review fella here a few of you have contacted me asking how to turn off the home screen auto start that is the app Ribbon or tiles that auto pop up when you turn your TV on and annoyingly sit there for a few seconds even though you may not want to use them this is easily stopped and we can also take the opportunity to stop LG forcing sponsored advertising in the home menu which is a bonus all you need to do is go into settings and you can bring all settings up if you press the cargo icon on your remote then to General then over to system then select additional settings and then home settings turn off Home Auto launch which stops the app Ribbon or tiles from Auto starting and you can easily get your apps when you need them by pressing the home screen on the remote here we can also turn off sponsored advertising from appearing in the home menu once done and the TV is restarted you can see the home menu no longer appears I hope you found that useful give this video a thumbs u
