heamp;#39;s had to change the name on the lock screen on your MacBook Air and this should work equally well for you the MacBook Air M1 or MacBook Air M2 so the first thing we need to do is just log in so Iamp;#39;m just going to use Touch ID and then we just need to click on system settings and then in system settings we just scroll down until we get to users and groups and then click on users and groups and then at the top in users and groups we just need to right click next to our name just above where it says admin and then click on Advanced options and then we just need to use our login password to unlock users and groups so let me do that now and then click on unlock and now the first thing you probably notice is that thereamp;#39;s a warning message at the top of this pop-up saying changing these settings might damage the account and prevent the user from logging in ETC but we donamp;#39;t have to worry about that because weamp;#39;re only going to be changing this field her

On your Mac, use the Advanced options in Privacy Security settings to adjust the security settings of your Mac. To change these settings, choose Apple menu System settings, click Privacy Security in the sidebar, then click Advanced on the right.
Turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click [your name] at the top of the sidebar. Click Sign-In Security, then click Turn on next to Two-Factor Authentication. Answer your security questions, then click Continue.
Mac: Open System Preferences, and select Users Groups. Select Login Options. Ensure that Automatic Login is set to Off
Add or change your password hint On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Users Groups in the sidebar. Click the Info button next to your user name on the right, then click Change. Enter your existing password in the Old Password field, enter and verify a new password, then enter a password hint.
Turn on two-factor authentication On your iPhone go to Settings [your name] Sign-In Security. Tap Turn On Two-Factor Authentication, then tap Continue. Enter a trusted phone number (the number youll use to receive verification codes), then tap Next. A verification code is sent to your trusted phone number.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Login Items on the right. (You may need to scroll down.) Choose login items that open automatically when you log in.
The simplest way to disable an app from launching on startup is from the Dock. Control-click on the app and hover over Options in the menu. Apps that are set to open automatically will have a checkmark next to Open at Login. Click that option to uncheck it and disable it from opening.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Login Password in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Note: If your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, see Change Touch ID Password settings. Click Change to change the login password and password hint for the current user.
