merge and center this feature will allow a user to position the title in the center across multiple cells step 1 type in the title in cell a1 example this is my title step 2 select or highlight the cells by clicking in cell a1 and holding the left mouse button down while dragging across to cell II 1 step 3 press the merge and center button located in the home ribbon tab in the alignment ribbon group step 4 to remove the merged cells simply select the merged cell and click the merge and center button
