To make checkboxes functional in the database, first, modify the "i8p member" field from 'short text' to 'yes/no' in design view. After switching to datasheet view and saving changes (acknowledging a data loss warning), checkboxes will appear for members previously marked "yes." Next, close Access, and reopen the job form while reconnecting to the Access file. In the “i am ember” box, clear existing content, then navigate to the “mailings” tab, select “insert merge field,” and add the "i AAP member" field. Finally, press Alt + F9 to change the field view, completing the setup for checkboxes.
