It may seem a simple place to start, but every map needs a title. The title indicates the theme of the map, explaining what is represented in the image you see.
The convention is to use the serif font to label natural features and the sans serif for cultural features. For the sans serif I chose Century Gothic, which is a classic, reliable mapping font.
For example in the title: Provo, UT. Theme Park Locations, Provo, UT. is the geographic name showing the base location. Theme Park is the layer (or layers) of interest. Locations is the indicator name, explaining that the map is showing the location of theme parks in Provo.
TITLE: the title should be in a large font, easily identifiable as the title of the map and should include descriptive text as to the location and purpose of the map. If the map is thematic, the theme should be included in the title.
