Approximately 4 to 8 weeks from the date of recording. What should I do when my deed has been recorded but a page is missing? You will need to re-record your deed (or a certified copy of your deed) with the missing page attached. On the first page of the deed write the reason why your deed needs to be re-recorded.

To obtain a copy of a plat or deed, contact the local Registers of Deeds office or Clerk of Court.
Homeowners should call the Recorder of Deeds office to request a copy of their documents.
All documents put to record must be acknowledged and contain a notary seal. All acknowledgements by a Virginia notary must include their commission number, expiration date and a darkened seal. All of this information must be legible. A maximum of three documents per check will be accepted for recordation.
You can obtain Official Copies of the Title Register, Title Plan and Filed Deeds directly from the Land Registry only by making a postal application using either form OC1 (for the Title Register and/or Title Plan) or form OC2 (for Filed Deeds). You cannot obtain Official Copies directly from the Land Registry online.
The Tennessee State Library and Archives has microfilmed copies of older deeds for every county in Tennessee. The deeds records are arranged by the name of the seller/buyer (grantor/grantee).
