any of these questions that are being answered here is not legal advice Im a real estate broker I am NOT a lawyer so all is consult an attorney do I have to give a 30-day notice to vacate the unit even if its at the end of my lease technically no but there are some rules to follow here if you lease the property from the first of January through the 31st of December you need to give the landlord the keys on or before the 31st of December if you dont give him the keys then its assumed youre going to be there or its implied that youre going to be there on the first day of the month and let the lease go month to month
