this next idea comes from a teacher in our Facebook group and I love this idea because it kills two birds with one stone our idea is that whenever students turn in assignments that you have on your desk or wherever they turn them in three highlighters red yellow and green or you can require students to have them on your person and what they do is they circle their name in red yellow or green green if they really feel like they understand this concept well yellow if they kind of got it but arent sure and red if theyre really confused about it this is great for actually three reasons one it helps the students self assess how well theyre doing two you can quickly glance through see how the class overall thinks theyre doing and identify which students are struggling but bonus number three it makes sure they actually have their name on their paper [Music]
