hi this is justin putney im the creator of n5 a web app works very much like web output except that it has a little bit of extra code that tells the device that it can be installed by saving to the home screen now when you save to the home screen you can have a custom icon you open it from there and it actually works a lot like an app but you didnt have to go through the painstaking process of getting it submitted and approved through the app store so this is a single page in indesign you can see when i hover over this theres a dotted line around it thats indicating that this is a multi-state object so im going to go into the object states which is found under window interactive i wanted to control the transitions when i initially designed it so i built it as a single page with object states when i wanted to update this and make it responsive because n5 now supports responsive layouts if i were rethinking this from scratch i probably would have designed each of these sections as

HTML5 is no longer just a website builder. Its an entire application builder on its own. Rather than the next update coming out as HTML6, HTML5 is continually updated as a living standard evolving as the web needs.
An HTML5 application project is an application that is displayed in a browser on your desktop or a mobile device. An HTML5 application is typically comprised of HTML, CSS and JavaScript files.
As HTML5 is an accepted Web standard, it can create apps that are compatible not only with mobile devices but also desktop and notebook browsers, for a seamless experience across all a users devices.
Native basics Unlike an HTML5 mobile app, a native app is compiled, typically leading to better performance. But more important is what developers can achieve with native code, whether on iOS or Android.
Platform independent: This is a major benefit of using HTML5 apps as compared to native apps. Irrespective of whether your users are on Android, iOS or Windows Phone, all of them can access your app, since they need only a web browser.
HTML5 is a programming markup language specifically used for structuring and presenting content on web apps and desktop browsers. HTML5 is very often used for producing the same app on different devices and operating systems, but that approach comes with its own set of benefits and challenges.
What is HTML5? HTML5 allows mobile developers to create more dynamic and engaging web content for different use cases and user experiences. Optimizing HTML5 features for mobile interfaces, enables brands to keep pages light and focus on functionality that takes advantage of the smaller screen size of mobile devices.
HTML5 is enabled by default in Chrome, so there is no need to enable it. If you are having trouble using HTML5 features in Chrome, the most likely cause is that the website you are trying to access is not using HTML5 correctly, or it is using features that are not supported by your version of Chrome.
