hi this is Jen Lasser with docHub analytics product management in this video I want to give you an overview of all the improvements we made to our column settings over the last few months including a new feature were releasing today which is the ability to wrap your column header text so the first thing that I want to show you guys is the improvement we made when you adjust the the row column so as you pull this left and right youll notice that all the subsequent columns adjust in proportion to the changes that youre making so this is something that we hadnt done in the past we in the past if you would have pulled this out you would have had to then go change each column one by one so were hoping this is a huge time-saver as you work with the the layout and format of your tables another big time-saving feature we put in is the ability to manage column settings across all your columns at once by holding shift and clicking start to finish the columns you want to include now when you

Finally, you can use a secret keyboard shortcut. Click on any file or folder and press Ctrl + + hotkeys (Ctrl and the plus key) on your keyboard. All columns will be resized to fit!
On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format. Under Cell Size, click AutoFit Column Width. Note: To quickly autofit all columns on the worksheet, click the Select All button, and then double-click any boundary between two column headings.
Make multiple columns or rows the same size Select the columns or rows you want to make the same size. You can press CTRL while you select to choose several sections that are not next to each other. On the Layout tab, in the Cell Size group, click Distribute Columns. or Distribute Rows .
In Table Tools click the [Layout] tab locate the Cell Size group and choose from of the following options: To fit the columns to the text (or page margins if cells are empty), click [AutoFit] select AutoFit Contents. To fit the table to the text, click [AutoFit] select AutoFit Window.
If you need to make this setting, you need to select the view as details, then right-click on the line that including name and modified date etc. at the top of the files, you can make Size all columns to fit setting. And you can set it to apply to all folders of this type in Options View.
Click the arrow next to the column that you want to change, and then select Column settings. In the menu, select the change that you want to make, such as formatting the column, moving left or right, hiding, or adding a column . The settings vary depending upon the type of column you are editing.
To AutoFit column width, select one, several or all columns on the sheet, go to the Home tab Cells group, and click Format AutoFit Column Width. To AutoFit row height, select the row(s) of interest, go to the Home tab Cells group, and click Format AutoFit Row Height.
To change the width of columns to fit the contents, select the column or columns that you want to change, and then double-click the boundary to the right of a selected column heading. To change the width of all columns on the worksheet, click the Select All button, and then drag the boundary of any column heading.
