- Theres something really magical about pop-up cards to me. So, my intention here was to use the crease thats connected to the flop of the envelope and turn that into where the pop-up mechanism is attached to. A lot of the concepts that I come up with are about things I really care about. So, since a lot of my work is inspired by nature and plants and botanical elements, so I decided to create a pop-up card of a greenhouse. So, I really love the delicacy of the little environment that Ive created here on this greeting card. To insert a preset equation in Word, place your cursor at insertion point in your document where you want the equation to appear. Then click the Insert tab in the Ribbon. Then click the Equation button in the Symbols button group on the right end of the tab.
The equation numbers should be enclosed by parentheses and placed at the right-hand side of the page. If you are referring to an equation in the text, use eq. (3) (or other abbreviations). If it is the first word in a sentence, capitalize it, i.e., Eq.
Usually an equation is followed by a comma after it is presented (especially when followed by descriptions of its individual members) or by a period if the sentence has ended. Some journals do not follow the equation with any punctuation marks, relying on the wording of the sentence alone to carry the meaning.
Equations should be referenced within the text as Eq. (x). When the reference to an equation begins a sentence, it should be spelled out, e.g., Equation (x). Formulas and equations should be created to clearly distinguish capital letters from lowercase letters.
