this is kind of a trick question so can you take notes in fact yes you can take notes but you cannot take them on the tablet itself you will have a booklet of scratch paper of about twelve to fourteen pages and you take all your notes there but you cannot draw freehand on the digital LSAT the way you might have expected to be able to on a whiteboard for example so while you are studying for the digital LSAT I recommend if youre studying out of books do not write on your books at all keep your books clean which as a bonus makes easy to reuse them if you want to or resell them if you want to but more importantly its assimilating the digital LSAT where you cannot write on the questions you can only write on your booklet of scratch paper to the side again its a booklet of twelve to fourteen pages eight-and-a-half by eleven paper online with a now small L sack logo on the page it used to be a much larger logo and its no longer newsprint its now normal relatively higher quality paper s

Finally, a caveat: the most important thing about note-taking on the LSAT is that it works for you. Some students ace Reading Comp passages by using their pencil only to bubble, while others find that jotting notes is critical to improving their score.
To make the most out of your study plan, consider the following as you work through the model: One month is the minimum for LSAT prep. No. The only kind of person who will perform well on the LSAT with only two or three weeks advance preparation is a person who would have performed well on the LSAT without two or three weeks advance preparation.
Items Allowed for LSAT Writing (The LSAT Writing interface includes a digital Scratch Paper section where test takers can type notes, instead of writing them on a physical piece of scratch paper.)
Taking previously administered LSATs is the best way to prepare for test day. You can get started with the free Official LSAT PrepTests available in your LawHub account. However, most test takers will benefit from taking additional practice tests under actual, timed conditions.
How do I prepare for the LSAT? Familiarize yourself with the test. Get familiar with the types of questions on the LSAT. Take a timed LSAT practice exam. Free practice exams are available for free from LSAC here. Develop a study plan. Research the various preparation courses available.
For most students, a three-month period of preparation (of approximately 20 hours per week) is a great goal. This is, of course, an estimate; most students are not all students. To find out how much LSAT prep time youre likely to need, we recommend taking a practice LSAT to get a baseline score.
