in this video im going to show you how you can set up a template for your students and provide places for them to type their responses as like a printable form but your students wont be able to delete or change anything that you have in the main part of your template so in order to do this were going to have to add a new tab that does not come automatically on our word ribbon so were going to go over to file and then all the way down at the bottom options then we want to add something to our ribbon so were going to customize ribbon and then we want to add a new tab one of the main tabs thats called a developer tab right here so im just going to check the box click ok and now youll see i have a new tab thats on my ribbon its called the developer tab now if i would like to provide a space for the students to type their name i can just go here and click one of these text boxes now ill be honest with you one of them says its for rich text but i havent seen how to make it rich
