Here are six steps to help you make an editable PDF from a word document: Open Word and locate the document. Open Microsoft Word and find the document you want to make into an editable PDF. Prepare the document in Word. Select docHub PDF. Create the form. Make your form editable. Edit and save your PDF form.
How to add passwords and permissions to PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
If the PDF youre converting was created from a scanned document, OCR is necessary to convert the image text in that document to rendered text that you can select and edit in Word or Excel.
To add a password to a PDF document, open Word File Export, select Create PDF/XPS Document, and click Create PDF/XPS, click Options, check Encrypt the document with a password, click OK, create a password for the PDF, and click Publish.
Create a Word document and save it in Word, then open Acrobat. Click the Tools menu and click Prepare Form. Select the Word file to import. Acrobat will detect potential form fields and add them automatically, but you can use the tools in the right editing pane to adjust them, delete them or add new form fields.
