we use this formula to go from text to a date but what I want is a label that shows where we started I need an arrow in the formula where we ended up with a formula and I want to know what cell and formula and if I move this cell I want the label to update now labels like these are a great way to document your model but theres a lot going on in this formula now the first thing I did is I didnt know how to put an arrow into a formula so I typed arrow unicode into Google found a great website and I liked the website it says copy and paste symbol copy paste enter and in Excel we can ask the question unique character or in my case I want unique code what is the Unicode for that arrow when I hit enter thats the number I can use inside my formula to get an arrow all right were going to start our formula equals and Im starting there ampersand and I need a space ampersand and now we use unique character 1 0 1 4 2 close parenthesis so if I enter that now I have an arrow in my formula f2 a
