By default, each chart you create in Microsoft Excel is locked to prevent unauthorized modification. However, this setting serves no purpose until you enable worksheet protection.
Right-click the chart, and then choose Select Data. The Select Data Source dialog box appears on the worksheet that contains the source data for the chart. Leaving the dialog box open, click in the worksheet, and then click and drag to select all the data you want to use for the chart, including the new data series.
You can create a chart for your data in Excel for the web. Depending on the data you have, you can create a column, line, pie, bar, area, scatter, or radar chart.
From the Chart Tools Format ribbon, you can select an element on the chart (for example, a series), then choose the Format Selection icon in the Current Selection group. With the Formatting Task pane, you can change the shape, style and color.
Right-click your chart, and then choose Select Data. In the Legend Entries (Series) box, click the series you want to change. Click Edit, make your changes, and click OK.
Click INSERT Recommended Charts. On the Recommended Charts tab, scroll through the list of charts that Excel recommends for your data, and click any chart to see how your data will look. If you dont see a chart you like, click All Charts to see all the available chart types.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type. Legend: Change the legend location. Titles: Change the chart and axis titles. When youre done, tap Done .
