I'd like to give some details on the 1099-NEC alignment and how you can tune and print it properly....Here's how: Click on File, then select Printer Setup. Set Form Name to 1099s/1096. Set the correct Printer Type. Click the Align button and enter the correct alignment values. Click OK.
The form name was changed from Miscellaneous Income to Miscellaneous Information in 2021. Certain payments reported on Form 1099-MISC need to be included on Schedule C, and depending on the box the payment is in you will enter it either in the Form 1099-MISC menu or directly in Schedule C under Gross Receipts.

If the alignment is still off, go to the File menu at the top-left corner and select Printer Setup. Choose the 1099-NEC or 1099s from the list in Form Name. Tap the Align button and adjust alignment as needed. Hit OK twice to save the changes.
