this quick tip video shows you how you can get a link for a teams meeting with a lobby so that you can accept people into that meeting one by one okay so if the meeting is for a particular team then i can go to that team uh and create and schedule a meeting in a particular channel but actually this i want to be quite an open meeting its not for a particular group of people maybe its a clinic maybe its a drop-in session so im just going to go to my calendar section on teams and im going to schedule a meeting from there okay call it drop in now in order for it to become a teams meeting you have to only add at least one attendee so if this is gonna be really quite open yeah you could you could uh select the pupils you know you want to come to this but actually im just going to for now put in my personal email address just so theres somebody who is invited otherwise it wont turn it into an actual meeting okay give it a time and date as usual im not going to add any other details

If youre sending a catch-up meeting invite, keep the event title clear and concise: Weekly check-in, 1:1 sync up, or Team catch-up should do.
Create or schedule an online meeting in Outlook for Windows From the calendar, select New Event. Add a title for your meeting. Select. Select a suggested time slot for the meeting, or manually enter a date and start and end times. Enter a meeting location, and Slide the Teams meeting toggle left or right as appropriate:
Start a meeting in the Meet (original) app Tap New meeting. Select an option: Get a meeting link to share: This generates a meeting link you can share to meet now or later. To invite others, tap Share invite.
After sending the meeting, click on it on your calendar in Teams. This will open the meeting details page. In the description field, there will now be a Click here to join the meeting link. Right click on the link, then select Copy Link.
That being said, here are some general tips that you should follow during the process of titling your business meetings: Keep them succinct. Include concrete goals if possible. Grasp the groups attention. Think about the other persons perspective. Creativity has its place.
a) Mark the time for your meeting in the calendar type a meeting title/subject press enter to confirm the title press enter again to open the meeting instance click on invite attendees. Or: b) Select new meeting enter your desired meeting title.
Create an instant meeting at the top of the screen. Enter a name for the meeting. Select Get a link to share to generate a link that you can copy to your clipboard and share in any way you wish. After you select Get a link to share, you can configure the meetings privacy options.
