Add a hyperlink to existing text Select the text that you want to turn into a hyperlink, and right-click it. On the shortcut menu, click Hyperlink. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog, paste the link in the Address box and click OK.
How to link to a specific part of a page Give a title to the text youd like to link. First, make a title or name to the text youd like to link on your webpage. Put the title into an opening HTML anchor link tag. Insert the anchor tags around the text you want to link to. Create a hyperlink that leads you to the text.
The tag defines the relationship between the current document and an external resource. The tag is most often used to link to external style sheets or to add a favicon to your website. The element is an empty element, it contains attributes only.
The {@link} inline tag creates a link to the namepath or URL that you specify. When you use the {@link} tag, you can also provide link text, using one of several different formats. If you dont provide any link text, JSDoc uses the namepath or URL as the link text.
Add the link Select the text or object you want to use as a hyperlink. Right-click and then click Hyperlink . Under Link to, click Place in This Document. In the list, select the heading or bookmark that you want to link to.
In your Word document: Highlight the text in which the URL should be embedded (usually the citation itself or the document title, such as Alias Grace) Go to the Insert menu (or press Control K) to open the Insert Hyperlink dialogue box. Paste the URL into the Address box. Press OK or hit Enter.
But you can also link to a section of the same page by linking to an element using its id. Assume our page has a div section with the id news . You can now link to this section (div) using the anchor tag. To do that, just use the id of the section with a # as the prefix for the href value.
