Welcome back. In this video, we're gonna find out how we can attach something to a link instead of replacing a link itself. Now, some of you might have noticed that when I click on to my product links here, I go over to Amazon, but there's no affiliate ID attached to it. So Amazon wouldn't know who sent this traffic and wouldn't know to send me my affiliate commission. So let's change it. I am part of the Amazon Associates program. So I can get a link here, I can choose my tracking ID, I have several here, I'm going to go with the generic one. And I can get the link and this will give me a shortened link. I will actually take a look at the full link here and copy that. And we see that from the original URL, Amazon has attached a lot of different other information there. Now, the most important information is actually this tag information that puts in my affiliate code onto this URL. So Amazon can identify me and knows that the traffic that I just sent him his affiliate traffic. Now, t...

For tag-based access control to shared resources, each AWS account must assign its own set of tags to control access to the resource. You cant tag all resources.
To add a tag to a resource The following create-tags example adds the tag Stack=production to the specified image, or overwrites an existing tag for the AMI where the tag key is Stack .
Follow these steps to set up the auto-tagging solution. Step 1: Clone the solution repo. Step 2: Select a CloudTrail trail. Step 3: Store your required AWS resource tags. Step 4: Authorize the Lambda function. Step 5: Create the resource-auto-tagger Lambda function. Step 6: Create a rule in CloudWatch Events.
To add tags toor edit or delete tags ofmultiple resources at once, use Tag Editor. With Tag Editor, you search for the resources that you want to tag, and then manage tags for the resources in your search results.
AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) at this time, you can tag only the following IAM resources using the Resource Groups Tagging API: instance-profile. mfa. oidc-provider.
To add a tag to a resource The following create-tags example adds the tag Stack=production to the specified image, or overwrites an existing tag for the AMI where the tag key is Stack .
For example - services like ec2,s3,lambda,dynamodb - has tagging feature, so that resources can be identified by tags(assuming they are tagged). Services like sns,sqs - do not have tagging option.
Amazon EC2 now allows you to add tags to your Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and EBS Snapshots during AMI creation. Tags are simple key-value pairs that you can assign to resources to easily organize, search, and identify resources, create cost allocation reports, and control access to resources.
Yes you can add multiple tags using one AWS cli command seperated by space between tags. For ex: aws ec2 create-tags --resources $instanceid --region $region --tags Key=owner,Value=admin Key=environment,Value=test Key=version,Value=1.0 . Save this answer.
An AMI owner can determine their instance availability through the following three launch permissions: Public, that grants instance launch permission to all AWS account holders. Explicit, that grants launch permission only to specific AWS accounts. Implicit, where only the AMI owner has permission to launch an instance.
