weve made some updates to relationships im going to show auto linking i have this table with a list of two projects im going to import a table from sheets well search for it and here and bring this over so ill switch to it and call it tasks hit save here so we have this project and then task and status first just convert this status to a drop down hit save this will add that one option and we can edit this as well say done and in progress here ill just rearrange this hit save and now i can set some of these to done a couple in progress and well do the same thing down here and just paste over these four now theres also this project column and this is just a text column so we have video content or marketing for these different tasks these match up here with video content and marketing but these tables arent linked yet so what you can do with auto linking is instead of creating a new column you can just convert this column and well hit edit and select the type go to link to tabl

If Relationships is grayed out, your workbook contains only one table. In the Manage Relationships box, click New. In the Create Relationship box, click the arrow for Table, and select a table from the list. For Column (Foreign), select the column that contains the data that is related to Related Column (Primary).

When you link to a table in an Access database, Access creates a new table, called a linked table, which maintains a link to the source records and fields. Any changes you make to the data in the source database are reflected in the linked table in the destination database, and vice versa.
Importing a table will bring a copy of that tables data into the Manifold project file. Linking a table will leave the tables data in a file or data source outside the Manifold project.
Ans: Joining two tables in SQL can be done in four major ways: Inner Join (returns rows with matching columns), Left Join (ALL records in the left table and matching records in the right table), Right Join (ALL records in the right table and matching records in the left table), and Union (removes duplicates).
