Symbols act just like other characters. All you have to do is highlight the symbol (like any other text), and click the Link icon on the toolbar.
Click the Add Link icon within the text editing bar, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K. This opens a field where youll enter the location you want to create a link to.
There is a simple way to do this. On the document you want to make your hyperlinks back to normal blue, press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + S .
Embed or link to a file in Word Go to Insert Object. Select Create from File. Select Browse and choose the file you want to use. Select Insert. Choose Display as icon to embed, or Link to file for a link. Select OK.

In the Styles: section, select Hyperlink, and then click Modify. From the list under Font Color:, choose the color you want. To save your changes, click OK, and then OK again.

Type the web address of the destination site, and then press Alt+T to move to the Text to display field. Type the link text you want to display in your document. Press Enter.
Heres how you can create a hyperlink in Word: Highlight the text that you want to use as an anchor. Right-click the highlighted text or image. In the right-click menu, select Link. Select Existing File or Web Page. In the text box next to Address, enter the target web pages address. Click OK.
