hi um my name is jacqueline long and i am applying for the department service and artistic excellence scholarship um and i chose this one because theater was my home in high school its where i spent most of my free time you know my freshman year all the way through my senior year um i was there almost every free period and for months before the shows i would go there after school and work on the sets like three out of five of the days uh maybe more and then you know like the two weeks leading up to the shows would be every single day um for hours and especially during tech week you know you get to school at 7 30 and then stay until like 11 30 at night um so ive spent a lot of time um working in my theater department and at my school we had three different crews uh three different stage crews we had our set crew who you know built and painted the sets we had our run crew who moved the sets during shows um work with props and stuff on stage or i should say backstage and then we had ou
