Connecting multiple monitors with a Dell docking station Most docking stations or port replicators have video connectors to connect two or more external monitors. A docking station or port replicator when connected to a laptop allows you to switch off the laptop LCD and use the external monitors instead.
Theres even a wonderful little button on the left side of the laptop that lets you check the battery life even when the lid is closed. One drawback of that edge-to-edge design is the webcam placement, which is nestled in the bottom left of the display.
