Click the Home tab. Click the Font group's Shadow button. Choose the type of shadow you want from the menu that appears. You can choose from Offset Diagonal Top Left, Offset Diagonal Top Right, Offset Bottom Left, Offset Bottom Right, or Custom Shadow.
Format Options Click on the 3 dots icon to see more of the icons in the toolbar. A side panel will appear allowing you to select “Drop shadow.” Note that this will take effect on the ENTIRE textbox. You can not apply a drop shadow to part of the selected text. Click on the word “Drop shadow” to expand options.
On the Format tab, under Text Styles, click Effects, point to Shadow, and then click the shadow style that you want.
Add a shadow to an object Select the picture, AutoShape, WordArt, or text box that you want to change. On the Format tab, click Text Effects or Shape Effects > Shadow. Do one of the following: Add or remove a shadow. To add a shadow, click the shadow style you want. To remove a shadow, click No Shadow.
As you can see, multiple options are available in the Picture Format tab from PowerPoint's ribbon. What we are going to use now is the Picture Effects option, and locate Shadows. The selected option, in this case, is Offset Bottom Right to cast a shadow from behind the object in the right direction.
In addition to formatting changes we previously discussed in Fonts, you can also apply effects to text with the Text Effects option. This was known as WordArt in previous versions of Word. You can add shadows, bevels, reflections, and much more. The Text Effects button is in the Font group of the ribbon.
Select the text or WordArt that you want to format. On the Format tab, under Text Styles, click Effects, point to Shadow, and then click the shadow style that you want.
Apply Picture Effects Select the picture. Select Picture Tools > Format and select Picture Effects. Select the one you want: Shadow, Reflection, Glow, Soft Edges, Bevel, or 3-D Rotation.
Steps to Apply: Step 1: Select the text/Paragraph to apply Border. Step 3: Select the border of your choice. Step 1: Select the text to apply the Shading. Step 2: Now, go to the Shading tab in the Paragraph menu under the Home bar. Step 3: Select the Shading Color of your choice.
