An exact quote should be in quotation marks ( ), or if the quotation is 40 words or more, should be formatted as a block quotation. Then you put an In-Text Citation right after the quotation to show where the quote came from.

Click at the end of the sentence or phrase that you want to cite, and then on the References tab, in the Citations Bibliography group, click Insert Citations. From the list of citations under Insert Citation, select the citation you want to use.
Luckily, writing the in-text citation for a website or webpage is easy: Simply include the author and year of publication. The URL goes in the corresponding reference list entry (and yes, you can leave the links live).
Author last name, First name. Page Title. Website Name, Day Month Year, URL.
The hyperlink would be part of the citation, usually the last section, which allows your read to find the source. If the hyperlink is coming out of an ebook, use the URL of the source the hyperlink takes you to as part of the reference.
