The linked question creates a list of answer options for categorical: single-select or multi-select questions from an answer given in a previous question. The list of answer options are generated by linking the categorical question to a text, numeric, date, or GPS question within a roster. An important point to note is that if the binding question in the roster is not answered, then there will be no answer options present in the categorical questions. Linked questions help to reduce the number of errors, when the same information needs to be entered in several questions. Linked questions also decrease the time required for interview completion. Creating a Web Link Go to the Collect Responses section of your survey. Choose Get Web Link. Choose your collector options. Edit the nickname of the collector by clicking the pencil icon in the dark grey bar at the top left of the pagethis nickname does not show to survey takers.
First, select the question. Then click the Add section button on the menu to the right. After youve added the section, click the three dots in the bottom right to add logic to the question by selecting Go to section based on answer. There are now dropdowns to the right of each answer option.
The multiple-choice option you see asks one question and gives a list of possible answers. Instead, what we want is a number of questions that all have the same answer options. You can create that by clicking the dropdown in the upper right-hand corner of the form that currently displays Multiple choice.
If you want to share a form through a chat or email message, you can get a link to the form. Open a form in Google Forms. In the top right, click Send. At the top of the window, click Link . To copy the link that appears, click Copy or press Ctrl + c (Windows) or ⌘ + c (Mac) on your keyboard.
