all right uh welcome to the video this is a tutorial on how to use home assistant to um fire integrations or do other events that you can configure through node-red by scanning qr codes in a way that does not require whoevers scanning the qr code to actually have home assistant installed and logged in on their device so my use case is very specific but this could be applied to anything in terms of changing scenes doing any sort of like chain of events in node-red whatever particularly for me i am a really heavy sleeper i can save crack just about any alarm clock on my phone and when i cant safe crack it i can turn it off and all completely in my sleep i wake up have complete amnesia of me shutting out my alarm whatsoever so to fix this i actually built a little alarm box that is just a very loud buzzer connected to a pi zero with a battery in it so that when i pull the plug on it it still just keeps on making noise and its run through mqtt so if i go to my mqtt settings i can send
