heres how you should name your revocable living trust or your irrevocable trust for that matter as well just for small I own CMS Law Firm we do the state planning in Probate were good at it all those things and um we name our trust very differently than I think most attorneys do I was reminded of this because I had a client call today they wanted to rename their trust renaming your trust is like one of the hardest things that you can do because then you have to change everything and I was like really you want to rename your trust theyre like yeah well were buying a piece of property and we dont want our name to be on the property we then the name of our trust is our name and I was like if not you know why because I dont put peoples names in the trust I use peoples initials most of the time and if they want to name it something else they cant Ive had the Hot Wheels trust Ive had like the green monster trust got all kinds of weird stuff usually its initials so if people go an
