This talk introduces the process of running the WRF model. Prior to this discussion, it is recommended to have knowledge of the pre-processing system for the WRF model. It is suggested to download the model code and follow along while preparing data for the model run using real atmospheric data. The workflow involves running two main programs within the WRF model code: the initialization program and the model itself. For real atmosphere modeling, the WPS programs are first run to prepare the domain and meteorological data, followed by the model program. Alternatively, the model can be run using idealized initial conditions through another method.
