Go to the Vendors menu and click on Pay Bills. Choose the bill connected to the check. Click on Set Credits, then go to the Credits tab.Let me show you how: Open the check you created and update the Expense account to Accounts Payable. Choose the vendor name from the Customer: Job drop-down. Select Save Close.
Just double-click the check to delete. Make sure the transaction has a bill. To pay the bill, click the Pay Bills icon on your Home Page. You can also go to Vendors, and then Pay Bills to do so.
Follow these steps after your vendor accepts the purchase order: Select + New. Select Expense, Check, or Bill. From the Payee ▼ dropdown, select the vendor. Select Add for the correct purchase order. If you plan to bill a customer for a specific item, select the Billable checkbox. Select Save and close.
Go to Transactions Purchases Receive Order.. Select a vendor and then click Receive next to the purchase order. On the Item Receipt page, verify the information, and then click Save and Bill. A bill is created for each of the items received on that purchase order.
Follow these steps after your vendor accepts the purchase order: Select + New. Select Expense, Check, or Bill. From the Payee ▼ dropdown, select the vendor. Select Add for the correct purchase order. If you plan to bill a customer for a specific item, select the Billable checkbox. Select Save and close.
Go to the Vendors menu, then select Pay Bills. Select the bill connected to the check. Select Set Credits, then go to the Credits tab. Put a check on the credit.Solution 2: Link the check to the bill Open the check you created. From the Customer: Job dropdown, select the vendor name. Select Save Close.
Bill.com allows you to sync purchase orders from systems like QuickBooks, Xero, Netsuite, and other platforms. However, it is not designed to create and approve purchase orders.
If it has, delete the bill, recreate it, and link to the PO before you sync again. Select Bills in the navigation menu. Select the invoice number of the bill youd like to link. Select More Actions then Edit Bill. Select the PO you want to link in the Purchase Order Number field, and Save.
On the Payments/credits column, select the appropriate check. On the Bills column, select the appropriate bills. Select Apply. If you selected the incorrect transaction, you can choose Unapply to unlink it.
Heres how: Open the newly created bill. Click the Pay Bill button. From the Pay Bills window, mark the bill you want to pay. Select the Set Credits button. From the Credits tab, choose the credits you want to use to pay the bill. Click Done. Review the Pay Bills details again. Hit Pay Selected Bills.
