in this tutorial Im going to teach you how to highlight some text in a Pages document so the first thing youre going to do is select the piece of text that you will want to be highlighted so if I want manta rays here to be highlighted Ill use my cursor to drag over it and highlight it now if you look over here under format there is a little gear here that says show Advanced Options and if you click on that it will drop down a box with more options here is a character fill color which is going to give us a highlight so if you click on this box right here click to choose a color you have a wide variety of colors that you can choose from so if I want orange highlight Ill click on that and when I click away I will see that it is highlighted
