If you want to click links without having to press Ctrl, try this: In Word 2010 and later, click File Options Advanced. In Word 2007, click the Microsoft Office button Word Options Advanced. Under Editing Options, clear the Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink check box.
Select the text or picture that you want to display as a hyperlink. Press Ctrl+K. You can also right-click the text or picture and click Link on the shortcut menu.
To create a link that opens directly to highlighted text: On your computer, open Chrome. Go to a page with text you want to share. To highlight the text you want to share, click and hold, then drag your mouse. To open the context menu, right-click on the highlighted text. Select Copy link to highlight.
CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) method is the most practical way to highlight links. The highlight can be added by adding the following style: background-color: color. Note that CSS only works on browsers that supports CSS. Most current generation of browsers do support CSS.
In Word, you can select all text in a document (Ctrl+A), or select specific text or items in a table by using the mouse or keyboard. You can also select text or items that are in different places. For example, you can select a paragraph on one page and a sentence on a different page.
How copy link to highlight works. Google lets you select a word, sentence or paragraph from a web page then right-click and select copy link to highlight. Now when you share the link, the same web page will open but that specific text will be highlighted.
To highlight the text you want to share, click and hold, then drag your mouse. To open the context menu, right-click on the highlighted text. Select Copy link to highlight.
Simply navigate to a web page, then, open toolbar popup UI and type your keyword in the designated area. Then click on the Find button or press Enter on your keyboard. All the matching words within the web page will be highlighted with yellow color.
Enter your hyperlinks text. In the Text to display, Text, or http:// field, enter the text that you want to display as the link. For example, you might type click here in this box to create a link to the page that activates when someone clicks the words click here in your email.
Press and hold your primary mouse button (commonly the left button). While holding the mouse button, drag the cursor to the end of the text and let go of the mouse button. Once completed, all text from the beginning to the end should be highlighted.
