You can also create a Markdown hyperlink by highlighting the text and using the keyboard shortcut Command + V . If youd like to replace the text with the link, use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + V .
To add a link to an image, enclose the Markdown for the image in brackets, and then add the link in parentheses.
Within the parentheses, insert a hash (#) symbol, then write the name of the particular section as you have titled it in the document. If the title you want a link for has spaces in it, then you would add dashes (-) to replace the spaces while putting it as a link reference.
Markdown syntax for a hyperlink is square brackets followed by parentheses. The square brackets hold the text, the parentheses hold the link.
Markdown supports two style of links: inline and reference. In both styles, the link text is delimited by [square brackets]. To create an inline link, use a set of regular parentheses immediately after the link texts closing square bracket.
Copy link in Markdown format. Click the extension icon or press the keyboard shortcut to copy link in Markdown format. The default keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + M. This can be changed from the browsers extension settings.
You just add the target=blank attribute to your anchor tag so the links open up in a different browser tab.
To link inline, type the text you want to link within brackets, [x], followed directly by the link URL parentheses, (y).
