hello everyone welcome to this presentation my name is matt im a structural engineer at sram software in vancouver british columbia and were going to give you a high level overview of how you can calculate connection design forces within sram were going to look at ways you can automatically create pass-through force components based off of the members that are connected to one another and the orientations of each of those members were also going to look at situations where you might want to group certain members that contribute to a force at a joint connection component essentially like a gusset plate and then you can tabulate those forces and sum them up and review them afterwards were also going to look at how you can view this information once you obtain all your connection design forces doing them graphically or numerically so in this presentation here were going to talk a little bit more about pass-through forces uh or what some people might refer to as transfer forces wer
