in this session were going to go ahead and talk about connecting to our rpt here im using a trimble Yuma so the instrument mode is slightly different than you will find on a dell tablet controller so were going to select the instrument mode and then its going to search for any rpts and you see that mine shows up so you want to get familiar with your number in case there are multiple ones out there this also shows the ability to connect to a normal RTS robotic total station over on the lower left hand side and when you click on that youll see that you have the option for a channel and a network ID to connect to that instrument so once you select there you can go ahead and select connect over on the right hand side when youre ready to connect to the rpt once its establishing connection you will see that its starting to initialize the instrument this way is connecting to it and getting ready for set up once its finished connecting youll get a successful message and then you get
