Hello tech lovers, Mark here. Not got a review for you today but more of a little tip. I recently backed something on either IndieGoGo or Kickstarter and its arrived from China and I was therefore expecting to pay some sort of VAT import duty, the import tax on that was 12.72. Arrived via FedEx no problem and then I received a text message from FedEx asking me to pay not only the import tax of 12.72 but a direct payment processing fee of 12. What the FFF..FedEx! I mean what is that about? I have no idea. It turns out Im not the only person who gets charges and thinks of what is going on, did a quick Google found a really good site setting out a template email that you can send to FedEx, I put a link to that in the description below, that was for a slightly different charge Ive modified it and put a link to my version of it for the direct payment processing fee. Essentially the email that you sent to FedEx sets out that youre happy to pay the import tax, but youre not happy to
