If you want to transfer all the files from one Mac to another, the fastest way is to use Migration Assistant. If you just want to share some files or folders with others, using AirDrop is the fastest method.
On your old Mac Open Migration Assistant, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. Then click Continue. When asked how you want to transfer your information, select the option to transfer to another Mac. Then click Continue.
