The NFLs waiver period for 2023 begins today. Players with less than 4 years of experience are subject to waivers. The waiver order is the same as the original 2023 NFL Draft order. Any player with 4+ years of experience that is cut can sign with another team immediately.
The waiver order decides which team will get the desired player. The waiver order at the start of the season is based on the draft order. The manager who picked last in the draft will get the first chance at picking up a player. Once a general manager signs a player off of waivers, they go to the back of the order.

In North American sports contracts, waivers is a type of player transaction. A player under contract to a team is placed on waivers for a specified period of time; during this time other teams may submit a claim for that players contract.
Managers are ranked from high to low to determine who wins a waiver claim. The initial priority rank is determined by the leagues draft: Live and Autopick Drafts - The last draft position gets 1st rank. Offline Drafts - The last to register gets 1st rank.
Reset Each Week - Each Monday morning at 12am PT/3am ET when new fantasy week starts, the order resets to inverse standings. Move to Last After Claim - Once a manager successfully claims a player via Waiver process (DIFFERENT THAN FREE AGENCY PICKUP!), that manager will move to the bottom of the order.
