But before we do that, actually, I want to show you the final product and how were going to add size charts to this particular store right here. Insert an Excel chart in a Word document In Excel, select the chart, and then press Ctrl+C or go to Home Copy. In your Word document, click or tap where you want the chart to appear, and press Ctrl+V or go to Home Paste. Note: The chart is linked to the original Excel spreadsheet.
Because the chart series order will change automatically with the original data changing, you can sort the original data first if you want to sort chart. Select the original data value you want to sort by. Click Data tab, and go to Sort Filter group, and select the sort order you need.
The solution is quite simple - you need to link the chart title to a cell with a formula. Click on the chart title. Type the equal sign (=) in the Formula bar. Click on the cell that you want to link to the chart title. Press the Enter button.
