Letters sent through Interfolio can take up to 3 business days to be marked as received within the AMCAS application. Letters uploaded through the AMCAS Letter Writer Application are immediately marked as received.
Give them at least 1 month prior to the due date - if you plan to submit your AMCAS application in the first week of June, ask them for the letter no later than May 1.
Only include information on grades, GPA, or MCAT scores if you also provide context to help interpret them. Grades, GPA, and MCAT scores are available within the application. 5. Focus on behaviors you have observed directly when describing an applicants suitability for medical school.
