hello my name is mark with Rand 3d and Id like to show you how to use as we call an attribute link which allows us to take a parameter from our physical model link it to text inside the drawing if that parameter ever changes inside the model itll automatically change on the print as well not just the physical graphical representation of the model so to do this you have to have both a part file and a drawing file now I have already taken the time to build a drawing and project an isometric view of that model into the drawing itself now to be able to link an attribute what well do is click on text inside the drawing workbench select where we want that text to go whether its in a view or whether its in the sheet background its really up to you now it allows us to be able to place our text now I could do something like Tyrael and leaving my cursor where I want this value to show up I will actually go to the text on the sheet of paper right click and say attribute link now its waiti

To insert a link to external data using the External Data dialog: Open the Calc document where the external data is to be inserted. Select the cell where the upper left cell of the external data is to be inserted. Choose Sheet Link to External Data on the Menu bar.
Fortunately Calc can link different files together. The process is the same as described for different sheets in a single spreadsheet, but we add one more step to indicate which file the sheet is in. To create the reference with the mouse, both spreadsheets need to be open.
To insert a hyperlink into your document, use the Navigator: Open the documents containing the items you want to cross-reference. Open the Navigator (by clicking its icon, choosing Edit Navigator, or pressing F5. Click the arrow next to the Drag Mode icon, and select Insert as Hyperlink.
Establish a Link Between the Two SpreadsheetsRight-click the target cell. Point to Paste Special and then press N to establish a link between the two spreadsheets.
