While editing your email: Highlight the text you want to link. Click the link icon and select Email from the drop-down. (Optional) Edit the text you want to display as the link. On the page where you add the content or the body of the HTML Email Template, add the link you want into the HTML text. For example: .salesforce.com. Highlight the text, then click the link icon on the Formatting Control and then retype the link address in the destination path field on the pop-up window.
