hi this is tim today were going to share a users application example using the plc tools s-i-m-i-p-e to replace a static ip address on an ifm io link master ethernet ip interface so the first thing were going to do is go down to read unknown and we can see here that our ip address is 192.168.1.121 its also going to give us the mac its going to tell us that it is an io link master and it gives us the version in the serial number and at the bottom of this youll notice that it says press ok to save this ip address and so were going to press the ok button and thats going to put it into the target ip now were going to hit the cancel button and were going to go up to a side address and replace static ip and so its going to come up with the ip address we just saved and then we have a new target address that we can set right here we set it press the ok button now we can go back to read unknown and our ip address now is 192.168.1.122. so theres a really quick way to change the ip a
