hyah shake moon where assistant groups are obsolete then I get an engineering college here and number eight so today I'm going to discuss about radix 64 conversion actually this radish 64 conversion is used in BGP that is a pretty good privacy and PGP provides a confidentiality and authentication service that can be used for electronic mail and file storage applications as a part of providing the confidentiality email data has to be encrypted and the encrypted data may have some non printable ASCII characters but email systems only permit the use of costly text that means the encrypted email may not how all ASCII characters we need to have a mechanism which converts the non printable ASCII characters into a printable ASCII characters so it is the responsibility of the radix 64 conversion are neurotic 64 conversion functionality is to convert the non printable ASCII characters into printable ASCII characters this technique is used in both PGP and I guess mine this technique Maps the ar...

Radix-64 (as described for OpenPGP) OpenPGP, described in RFC 4880, describes Radix-64 encoding, also known as ASCII Armor. Radix-64 is identical to the Base64 encoding described from MIME, with the addition of an optional 24-bit CRC.
Base64 algorithm is usually used to store passwords in database. The major drawback is that each decoded word can be encoded easily through any online tool and intruders can easily get the information.
Java codes for generating a Base64 encoded String payload from a username and password pair concatenate the username, a colon and the password, pass the concatenated String as bytes to Base64. getEncoder(). encodeToString to get a Base64 encoded String, and prepend the Base64 encode String with the String Basic .
Base64 Encoding Example A Base64 encoder starts by chunking the binary stream into groupings of six characters: 100110 111010 001011 101001. Each of these groupings translates into the numbers 38, 58, 11, and 41.
Base64 encoding converts the binary data into text format, which is passed through communication channel where a user can handle text safely. Base64 is also called as Privacy enhanced Electronic mail (PEM) and is primarily used in email encryption process.
base64url.com Base64 is a group of similar binary-to-text encoding schemes that represent binary data in an ASCII string format by translating it into a radix-64 representation. The term Base64 originates from a specific MIME content transfer encoding. Each base64 digit represents exactly 6 bits of data.
Basic Authentication Concatenate username and password into a string with a colon between as shown: username:password Encode the resulting string in a Base64 variant. Prefix the encoded string with Basic ; the space after Basic is required.
In JavaScript, these are the functions respectively for encoding and decoding Base64 strings and URL. btoa() : This function uses the A-Za-z0-9+/= characters to encode the string in Base64. atob() : It decodes a Base64 encoded string created by btoa() . encodeURI() : This encodeURI() function is used to encode a URI.
Yes and no. The basic charset of base64 may in some cases collide with traditional conventions used in URLs. But many of base64 implementations allow you to change the charset to match URLs better or even come with one (like Pythons urlsafeb64encode() ).
If we were to Base64 encode a string we would follow these steps: Take the ASCII value of each character in the string. Calculate the 8-bit binary equivalent of the ASCII values. Convert the 8-bit chunks into chunks of 6 bits by simply re-grouping the digits.
