But the numbers arent lined up in any way. When we present business documents we need to have a right alignment of all figures in that (list). And heres how you do it. In this case, you select the lines that you want to have a new alignment on, and then youre going to come over to this part of Microsoft Word. You may never have noticed this but this is a tab. This is a traditional left tab and when you click on this you see it changes. So Im just clicking and you can see it rotating through a couple of different kinds of tabs. To create a numbered list in Google Docs, follow these steps: Open your Google Docs document (or create a new one). Place your cursor where you want to start the numbered list. Click on the Numbered List icon on the toolbar. Type out your list, pressing the Enter key after each item to move to the next line.
Right-click the number you want to change. Click Set Numbering Value. In the Set value to: box, use the arrows to change the value to the number you want.Start with 1. Open your document that uses built-in heading styles, and select the first Heading 1. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, choose Multilevel List.
